The Murrayfield Building Company undertook a garage conversion on my property 2-years previous which gave me the confidence to use them again for the conversion of the celler into a dining/kitchen and utility area. This was all undertaken whilst the property was occupied and involved a number of "work around" solutions to enable services to be maintained. Keith was excellent in his ability to find solutions when unforseen challenges arose.

The main constructions was completed to allow beneficial use by Christmas 2016 with the external works being completed in early 2017. The high standard of finishing has attracted many positive comments and has provided a considerable enhancement to our property.

Having been stung by unreliable builders before, we were keen to use a company for our 4-room extension that we could trust and the Murrayfield Building Company definitely lived up to their good reputation. They were reliable, presentable, polite and hard working. The depth of the team and their level of commitment to the job meant that the project kept moving even when they had other jobs on. Keith has a good eye for the details and is committed to ensuring the internal finish is of a high standard. Our project was to virtually demolish our entire 1970s semi detached bungalow and rebuild a modern new house. Our architect recommended that we get a quote from Keith at the Murrayfield Building Company. I'll never forget the architects words of "if you want this job done right consider these guys !" On meeting Keith we were instantly impressed, he was professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Keith provided a detailed quotation booklet a short while later which contained every item of work to be undertaken which was impressive and much more useful than the general ball park figures quoted by other builders. The quotation was fairly priced too so we decided that Murrayfield were the builders for us ! Works started a few weeks later and the team did not hang about.

Keith had roughly 10 or more quality tradesmen on our job daily progressing the demolition and re build at pace. Keith runs a tight ship and was on site daily checking all works being carried out. He has a sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting the job completed to the highest of standards. There were no hidden costs and the project was completed on time allowing us to move back home on our agreed date. Keith kept in touch daily with updates and was so helpful in suggesting design ideas and keeping us right throughout the entire build . On seeing the architects initial plans for our house we were so excited and the final result has actually exceeded our expectations. Our project was quite an extensive alteration to our family home so we wanted to make sure we found a company that was honest, hardworking and shared the same needs and vision that we did, the Murrayfield Building Company met that remit!

From concept to completion Keith and his team were great to work with and very professional. The guys worked well as the project moved to the different disciplines such as brickwork, joinery, plumbing, electors and painting. It really was a well managed and integrated project.

The site was always keep tidy and Keith and his team always had our needs and desires in their minds as they were able to keep us in the house throughout quite an extensive build. It was really good to see the guys take pride in their work and then commenting on how good the project looked emphasised they were proud of their achievement.

The complete renovation of a much loved family home is never an easy process but Murrayfield Building Co was the right choice to make this happen.

Some issues with the initial design and a few unforeseen problems related to the age of the property were quickly overcome due to Keith's expertise and understanding of what we were trying to achieve.

Aside from Keith's own experience and approachable manner we found everyone involved in the build to be excellent at their trade as well as both professional and friendly.

Our architect recommended we ask Murrayfield Building Company to submit an estimate for the home alteration we were planning. We were completely new to all this and a little anxious about getter the right builder. From our first meeting with Keith we got a really good feeling.
